Stephanus Blancardus: Lexicon medicum


Steven Blankart (Blancardus, 1650-1702) published a number of medical works. His Lexicon Medicum was the greatest of these and maintained its place for at least 150 years. Even today it is regarded as the standard European work for medicine of the baroque and enlightenment periods.
